Clinical Therapy with Lisa Firle, MA, NCC

Lisa holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, is a Nationally Certified Counselor, an EMDR trained counselor, and a Registered Psychotherapist in the state of Colorado. Many of the clients Lisa sees for therapy experienced excessive worry, sleeplessness, hopelessness, suffered from the aftereffects of a traumatic event, or have had difficulty connecting in relationships with others. Lisa works most extensively with complex trauma, interpersonal abuse, and spiritual abuse as well as with couples, adolescents, and foster/adoptive families. She typically draws upon many approaches in therapy to help clients alleviate not only the symptoms they experience, but to help bring complete healing to their lives. Lisa generally uses approaches from Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, Somatic Processing, and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). If you are interested in learning about any of these modalities or how they could be of benefit to you, please contact her for a free consultation. Together you can decide if her style of counseling will be helpful or a good fit for your needs.

During Lisa’s free time, she enjoy running the trails in Boulder with her dog Tom, goofing around with Brian, as well as spending time with family and friends.
